Registered with TN Department of State Division of Solicitation & Gaming which regulates fund raising activities. File annual report.
Registered with TN Department of Revenue which grants tax free status on purchases in TN. File annual report.
Registered with TN Department of Labor and Workforce Development which regulates our relationship to employees. File quarterly report.
Member of Cleveland/Bradley County Chamber of Commerce.
Member of Christian Community Development Association.
Member of ProLiteracy which is primary independent Adult Literacy accrediting association. File annual report.
Registered with National Literacy Directory (a public listing of literacy programs with information and inquiries monitored by NLD).
Receive partial funding from United Way Ocoee Region (25% of annual budget). File quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports (includes use of money within guidelines and reports of outcomes).
Receive grants from various organizations. All require high levels of accountability and reports.
The Refuge Board of Directors monitors all finances and approves all budgets.
The Refuge Board of Directors monitors operations and ensures compliance with our Articles of Incorporation/Bylaws.
Advisory Board of industry experts helps with planning and oversight of our Jobs Programs.
Any expenditure over $5,000 must be approved by the Board of Directors.
